Pastor Fred Malone of First Baptist Church Clinton LA brought us a marvelous message on the importance of Law and Gospel in evangelism. For me this was one of the highlights of this years' assembly. Pastor Malone hits a home run with this one ... listen and pay attention!

Friday Devotion

Pastor Jack Daniels of the Limerick Free Baptist Church, Limerick, Maine brings our final devotion of the week. I thought he gave a good balance between the emphasis on 'personal' evangelism and the evangelistic power of the preaching of the Gospel each Lord's day.

Devotional

Pastor/Missionary Stan Line (Columbia, SA) preaches on Psalm 18, focus on the 'problem' verse 24 where the psalmist seems to claim that the Lord has rewarded him according to his righteousness. Certanly this verse seems to go against our understanding of the holiness of God vs. our present state - suprisingly this message wasn't theological parsing but rather a message of encouragement. This was a good, balanced exposition of a problematic passage.
